Berklee College of Music just gathered a bunch of bold-facers to ring the victory gong in celebration of finishing its successful fundraising opus. The school recently held a reception to commemorate its Soundbreaking fundraising campaign successfully raking in $154M, thanks to an ensemble of thousands of contributors. The milestone party featured a share of celebratory remarks and toasts, a tribute concert by the Ariana Grande Ensemble and a guest appearance from R&B and soul artist Micki Miller. READ MORE...

Born and raised in South Bend, Miller played basketball at Clay High School, earning a Division 1 scholarship to play at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In due course, she quit the team and came back home, where she still lives, to devote herself to music. READ MORE...

SOUTH BEND — The Music Village presents a block party from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of S. Michigan Street.
The event features more than 20 regional and local musical acts, food, drink, dancers, children’s activities and programs, and other vendors.
